Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey recorded a routine Monday slowdown on Day 4, but continued its strong run at the worldwide box office, taking its global total to ₹2,700 crore. Despite the expected dip after a blockbuster opening weekend, the epic held steady across international markets.

As the Hollywood epic commanded multiplexes, robust performances from Hindi, Telugu and Tamil releases underscored the breadth of India’s moviegoing culture, where global blockbusters and homegrown entertainers continue to thrive side by side.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey stormed into theatres with a thunderous ₹56.75 crore opening weekend. The original English version accounted for a commanding 79% (₹44.94 crore) of the haul.

Southern India emerged as its strongest market, while Mumbai, Pune and the NCR also delivered robust support. According to Sacnilk,

The Odyssey has grossed ₹83.14 crore in India and ₹1,400 crore in overseas markets, taking its worldwide total to ₹2,700 crore. The film’s India net collection stands at ₹69.65 crore.

The film rewrote the record books on its opening day, delivering the biggest debut of the director's career in India.

It grossed ₹20.75 crore across languages on Day 1, comfortably eclipsing the ₹17.50 crore opening of the filmmaker's previous release and setting a new benchmark for their work in the country.

Dhamaal 4 Box Office Collection

Dhamaal 4 entered a more predictable phase of its theatrical run, with collections easing sharply on its second Monday. The film earned ₹3.25 crore on Day 11, a 74.5% drop from the ₹12.75 crore it collected on Day 10, reflecting the typical weekday slowdown after a weekend surge.

The latest figures take the film’s India net collection to ₹127.75 crore, while its India gross has reached ₹152.20 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

In overseas markets, Dhamaal 4 added ₹0.50 crore on Day 11, pushing its international total to ₹22 crore. Its worldwide gross collection has now risen to ₹174.20 crore.

The film saw a sharp decline in footfall on Monday, with overall Hindi occupancy averaging 11.58% across 8,892 shows. Morning occupancy stood at 5.23% before improving to 12% in the afternoon. Evening occupancy was 12.31%, while night shows recorded the day’s highest attendance at 15.23%.
