Peddi (Netflix) | Following the theatrical success, this Telugu sports action drama is all set to make its digital debut this week. Starring Ram Charan in the titular role, the film follows a daily-wage athlete who fights for the dignity and recognition of his forgotten village near Vizianagaram. Inspired by an elder’s decades-long campaign for basic human rights and a train halt, he uses his sporting talent to secure his community's identity. I’m Not Afraid (Netflix) | This Mexican thriller is a localised adaptation of Niccolò Ammaniti's acclaimed 2001 Italian novel I'm Not Afraid. Set in 1986 during the World Cup, the series follows a 10-year-old boy who stumbles upon a kidnapped child in a hidden place and unravels dark secrets about the adults he trusted. The series is helmed by directors Ernesto Contreras, Alba Gil, and Alex Zuno, with a cast that includes Luis Alberti, Fátima Molina, and Yoshira Escarrega. It is premiering on Netflix on July 8.
