Stands within the iconic stadium were officially renamed in their honour, a testament to their exceptional careers and invaluable contributions. This recognition celebrated not only their individual achievements but also their deep connection to Karnataka's cricketing fraternity. For Anil Kumble, the renaming of a pavilion after him held profound personal significance.
