careers of Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble, alongside honouring Shantha Rangaswamy. The stadium, which has been a home ground for many of their domestic campaigns, now bears the names of these cricketing legends, cementing their legacy. The northern and pavilion ends of the iconic M. Furthermore, a long-standing aspiration of cricket enthusiasts has been realized with the B Lower Stand now bearing the name of Shantha Rangaswamy. This particular stand holds a special place in history as it was nearly fifty years ago that Rangaswamy etched her name in the venue's records by hitting the first-ever six by a woman at the stadium.
