The IRCTC Divine East Temple Tour embarks on a spiritual odyssey, commencing its journey from Delhi's Safdarjung Railway Station on March 09, 2026. This
meticulously planned pilgrimage spans 10 days, guiding travelers through a tapestry of sacred sites and cultural landmarks across eastern India. The itinerary is designed to offer a comprehensive spiritual and cultural immersion, covering a diverse range of destinations that hold significant religious and historical importance. The train route is set to explore revered locations such as Varanasi, the spiritual capital; Kolkata, the cultural heart; the sacred shores of Gangasagar; the divine Jagannath Temple in Puri; the historical and Buddhist sites of Bhubaneswar and Konark; and finally, the auspicious Baidyanath Dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. This tour package aims to simplify pilgrimages, allowing devotees to visit these important places of worship with ease and comfort.
Sacred Stops & Spiritual Experiences
This spiritual expedition promises a wealth of profound experiences. In Varanasi, participants will visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and witness the captivating Ganga Aarti. Kolkata, India's cultural epicenter, will be explored with visits to iconic landmarks like Victoria Memorial, alongside significant religious sites such as the Kali Ghat (Shakti Peeth) and the Dakshineshwar Kali Mandir. A highlight of the tour is the day excursion to the holy confluence at Gangasagar. Here, pilgrims can partake in a sacred dip at the Sagar Sangam and seek blessings at the Kapil Muni Temple. The journey continues to Puri, where a darshan at the magnificent Shri Jagannath Temple awaits. The Odisha circuit further unfolds with visits to Bhubaneswar, the Dhauli Shanti Stupa, the ancient Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Konark Sun Temple.
