The innings was spectacularly anchored by Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who unleashed a blistering 175 off just 80 deliveries, a knock adorned with 15 fours and an astonishing 15 sixes. Captain Ayush Mhatre also contributed a valuable 53 from 51 balls, supported by Abhigyan Kundu's quickfire 40 off 31 balls. England's valiant effort, despite a century from Caleb Falconer, fell short as they were bowled out for 311, unable to chase the mammoth target of 412. This batting onslaught also saw India record a new high for sixes in a Youth ODI final, with an incredible 31 maximums, surpassing the previous record of 23.
