North. This strategic move aims to provide additional travel alternatives and ease the journey for a greater number of travelers. The services are scheduled to run on select dates throughout April and May, offering flexibility for passengers planning their trips. Commuters are strongly advised to plan ahead and book their tickets in advance, as these special services are expected to be in high demand due to the increased passenger volume on this popular route. The railway aims to ensure a smoother travel experience for everyone during this period of elevated demand.
Specific Train Details
For travelers heading from the Tamil Nadu capital to Kerala's capital, Train No. 06113 will depart from Chennai Egmore at precisely 11:55 PM on April 2nd. This special service is slated to reach Thiruvananthapuram North by 6:00 PM the following day, offering a full day's travel. Conversely, for those journeying from Thiruvananthapuram North back to Chennai Egmore, Train No. 06114 will commence its service at 5:15 PM on April 5th. This train is scheduled to arrive at Chennai Egmore by 11:30 AM on the subsequent day. These dedicated services are designed to enhance capacity and convenience on this vital rail corridor, ensuring passengers have reliable options for their travel needs.

The special trains between Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram will cater to a wide network of stations, ensuring accessibility for passengers across various locations.
