Price & Trims
Mark your calendars for March 21, 2026, as Skoda is set to unveil the official prices for the much-anticipated Kushaq facelift. This mid-cycle refresh
of the popular mid-size SUV, which has been a fixture in the Indian market since 2021, was first previewed in January 2026. Consumers can anticipate its availability across five distinct trims: the Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo. Pre-bookings for this updated model have already commenced, allowing eager buyers to secure their preferred variant ahead of the official launch.
Engine & Performance
The powertrain options for the Skoda Kushaq facelift remain consistent with its predecessor, offering two robust turbo-petrol engines. The 1.0-litre TSI engine delivers a spirited 115hp, while the larger 1.5-litre TSI unit churns out an impressive 150hp. A key upgrade for the 1.0 TSI engine is the introduction of a new 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, providing a smoother and more refined driving experience alongside the existing 6-speed manual gearbox. The more potent 1.5-litre engine retains its 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) transmission exclusively.
Exterior Design Tweaks
Drawing significant design inspiration from its larger sibling, the Skoda Kodiaq, the Kushaq facelift sports a revised exterior. The front fascia now features slimmer projector LED headlights, complemented by distinctive eyebrow-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that integrate with the grille's segmented LED elements. The rear profile is equally striking, showcasing sleek, connected LED tail-lights with illuminated brand lettering, a functional roof-mounted spoiler, and a practical rear wiper and washer setup. Complementing the updated aesthetics are stylish up to 17-inch alloy wheels, robust roof rails with a substantial 50kg load-bearing capacity, and protective black cladding around the wheel arches and lower door edges, adding to its rugged appeal.
Interior Comfort & Tech
The interior of the Skoda Kushaq facelift retains a familiar dashboard layout but introduces several significant upgrades in technology and comfort. Notably, it now boasts a larger 10.25-inch digital driver's display, complementing the updated user interface of the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Among the standout new features are a panoramic sunroof, offering an airy cabin ambiance, and a segment-first rear seat massage function for enhanced passenger comfort. Additionally, occupants will appreciate the powered and ventilated front seats, a convenient wireless phone charger, and an automatic climate control system equipped with rear air vents. For safety, the vehicle comes standard with 6 airbags, a rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror. However, it notably omits a 360-degree camera and an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, features commonly found in some of its segment rivals.
