Peaq's Generous Proportions
The forthcoming Peaq is poised to become the largest vehicle in Skoda's lineup, a significant step up in size compared to its current electric offerings
like the Enyaq and the anticipated Elroq. Measuring an impressive 4,874mm from front to back, it boasts a commanding presence. Its height reaches 1,664mm, contributing to a spacious interior feel. Crucially, the wheelbase extends to 2,965mm, which is notably longer than the Enyaq's 2,766mm and even surpasses the Kodiaq's 2,791mm. This extended wheelbase is a key factor in delivering the vehicle's exceptional interior volume and comfortable ride characteristics, making it an ideal choice for those prioritizing passenger and cargo space in an electric SUV.
Versatile Cargo Solutions
The Peaq electric SUV is engineered to offer the most extensive boot space of any Skoda production model, especially in its 5-seater configuration, capable of swallowing up to 1,010 litres of luggage. This makes it exceptionally practical for family holidays or large shopping trips. For those opting for the 7-seater version, the cargo capacity is reduced to 299 litres, still a respectable amount for everyday needs. Adding to the storage convenience, both configurations come with a 37-litre frunk, or front trunk, perfect for stowing smaller items or charging cables. A thoughtful 'Simply Clever' feature includes an integrated QR code within the boot area; scanning this code will launch an explainer video, guiding users on how to maximize the utility of the Peaq's cargo space effectively.
Platform and Variants
Built upon the versatile Modular Electrification Toolkit platform, the Peaq signifies Skoda's commitment to advanced electric vehicle architecture. This foundation allows for optimized packaging of battery and motor components, contributing to the vehicle's spacious interior and dynamic performance. When it launches, the Peaq will be available in three distinct variants, offering consumers a choice that best suits their individual needs and preferences. Furthermore, these variants will be offered with two different battery sizes, providing flexibility in terms of driving range and performance capabilities. This tiered approach ensures that buyers can select a Peaq that aligns with their expected usage patterns, from daily commutes to longer journeys.
Innovative Interior Features
Inside, the Peaq promises a modern and comfortable cabin experience, highlighted by a substantial 13.6-inch touchscreen display that serves as the central hub for infotainment and vehicle controls. Enhancing passenger comfort, the SUV will feature massaging seats, designed to reduce fatigue on longer drives and provide a more relaxing journey. Adding a touch of luxury and modern technology, the Peaq will also be equipped with an electrochromic panoramic sunroof. This advanced feature allows the tint of the glass to be adjusted electronically, offering control over light and heat entering the cabin without compromising the open-air feeling of a sunroof. These interior advancements underscore the vehicle's positioning as a premium offering.
