Vibe Edition Pricing
The latest iteration of the Grand i10 Nios, dubbed the Vibe Edition, is now available, with prices reflecting an increase over the standard models. This
special edition commands a premium ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 26,000, depending on the chosen trim level. Specifically, the Sportz Vibe manual transmission variant is priced at Rs 7.09 lakh, while its AMT counterpart comes in at Rs 7.61 lakh. For those opting for the higher-specced Sportz (O) Vibe with the AMT gearbox, the cost is Rs 7.73 lakh. These figures indicate a strategic positioning for this enhanced model, offering additional value through its unique features and styling for customers seeking a distinctive automotive experience within this segment. The introduction of these specific price points ensures transparency for potential buyers evaluating the Vibe Edition against other offerings and the standard variants.
Enhanced Styling & Features
The Vibe Edition significantly spruces up the Grand i10 Nios with a host of aesthetic and functional upgrades. On the inside, a new black interior scheme is complemented by striking red accents, adding a touch of sportiness. Adding to the premium feel is a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A standout feature is the integration of a dashcam, which Hyundai highlights as a first for this class of vehicle. This advanced dashcam system offers a variety of recording modes, including continuous driving footage, emergency and event-triggered recordings, a vacation mode for parked security, and on-demand video and photo capture capabilities. The recorded content is easily accessible via a dedicated mobile application, enhancing convenience and providing peace of mind. Beyond these new additions, the Vibe Edition retains popular features from the Sportz trims, such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, rear AC vents for passenger comfort, projector headlamps for improved visibility, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a comprehensive safety suite including six airbags. The Sportz (O) Vibe variant further benefits from a smart key with push-button start functionality, a feature previously reserved for higher trims.
Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition continues to be powered by the well-regarded 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine. This capable engine delivers a robust performance output, generating 83 horsepower and a peak torque of 114 Nm. Prospective buyers have the flexibility to choose between two transmission types to suit their driving preferences: a conventional 5-speed manual gearbox for those who enjoy a more engaging driving experience, or an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) for enhanced convenience, especially in city traffic conditions. This powertrain configuration ensures a balance of efficiency and drivability, catering to a broad spectrum of customer needs and expectations within the compact hatchback segment.
New Matte Colour & Asta Update
Beyond the specific Vibe Edition enhancements, updates have also been rolled out to the Asta variant of the Grand i10 Nios. Notably, the dashcam feature, previously exclusive to the Vibe Edition, is now also available on the Asta trim. Furthermore, a distinctive new colour option has been introduced: Titan Grey Matte. This matte finish is presented as a unique offering within the segment, providing an alternative aesthetic for buyers seeking a more contemporary and understated look for their vehicle. This strategic introduction of new colour options and feature enhancements across variants aims to maintain the model's appeal and competitiveness in the dynamic Indian automotive market, offering customers more choices and updated technology.
