New Routes Unveiled
Mark your calendars! Akasa Air is set to commence daily flight operations from the upcoming Noida International Airport on June 16, 2026, just a day after
the airport officially opens its gates for commercial traffic. This new gateway will immediately connect passengers to two vital economic hubs: Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai. This strategic move by Akasa Air aims to bolster connectivity between the National Capital Region (NCR) and these rapidly expanding business and technology centres, offering a convenient alternative for travellers. The airline currently manages 188 weekly flights across the broader NCR region, and the addition of Noida International Airport signifies a significant expansion of its network in northern India. This initiative is also poised to alleviate some of the air traffic congestion at Delhi's existing airport infrastructure, providing passengers with enhanced travel choices within the region.

Akasa Air has meticulously planned its inaugural services from Noida International Airport, ensuring daily non-stop flights on two key routes starting June 16, 2026. For the Bengaluru sector, flight QP 1575 is scheduled to depart Bengaluru at 4:25 pm, arriving in Noida at 7:15 pm. The return journey, flight QP 1576, will depart Noida at 7:55 pm, reaching Bengaluru by 11:00 pm. Booking and Future Plans
Exciting news for travellers: ticket bookings for Akasa Air's new Noida routes are already live! Passengers can secure their seats through the airline's official website, its dedicated mobile applications for both Android and iOS devices, and a variety of other popular online travel platforms. Akasa Air has also indicated its commitment to progressively expanding its network from Noida International Airport. Future plans include introducing more domestic routes and eventually launching international connectivity, further solidifying the airport's role as a major aviation hub in the region. This phased expansion suggests a long-term strategy to cater to a growing demand for air travel originating from and connecting through Noida.
Maintenance Facility Planned
Beyond passenger flight services, Akasa Air is making a significant strategic investment in Noida International Airport by planning to establish a state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. This facility, to be located within the airport premises, is designed to support a comprehensive range of aircraft maintenance activities. The establishment of an MRO hub is anticipated to enhance operational efficiency and uphold stringent safety standards for the airline's expanding fleet. Furthermore, industry experts suggest that the presence of such a facility could significantly bolster the airport's standing as a future centre for aviation and logistics operations in northern India, attracting further investment and development in the sector.
