RS 457 Price Update
The popular Aprilia RS 457 now comes with a revised ex-showroom price of Rs 4.22 lakh in Maharashtra. This attractive price point is applicable across
the range, including the latest Coral Blue Snake and Arsenic Yellow color schemes that were recently displayed at IBW 2025. These new vibrant liveries offer riders fresh aesthetic choices, while the core performance of the motorcycle remains untouched. The brand has worked to bring the pricing back to a more accessible level following brief fluctuations due to updated GST regulations. This strategic revision aims to ensure the RS 457 remains a compelling option for performance enthusiasts looking for a capable and stylish sportbike without an exorbitant cost.
GP Replica Excitement
For those seeking a sportier aesthetic, the RS 457 GP Replica variant offers an enhanced experience. This special edition is priced at Rs 4.37 lakh, representing a Rs 15,000 increase over the standard model. The key differentiator for this variant is the inclusion of a bi-directional quickshifter as standard equipment, allowing for seamless gear changes up and down the gearbox without the need to operate the clutch. This feature significantly contributes to a more engaging and track-focused riding experience. The GP Replica boasts a striking black primary color complemented by official sponsor graphics that closely mimic the professional RS-GP race bike. Further enhancing its aggressive look, the frame and swingarm are finished in a stealthy black, solidifying its race-inspired appeal.
Tuono 457 Adjustments
The naked sibling, the Tuono 457, has also seen its pricing adjusted. Originally launched at Rs 3.95 lakh in January 2025, its price had temporarily risen to Rs 4.24 lakh following revised GST rules in December 2025. However, the manufacturer has since implemented a new price of Rs 3.97 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). This means the Tuono 457 is now only Rs 2,000 more expensive than its initial launch price, despite the broader tax implications. Sharing the same underpinnings and powertrain as the RS 457, this naked sportbike continues to offer a potent package for riders who prefer a more upright riding position but still crave sporty performance. The minimal price increase makes it an even more attractive proposition in its segment.
Shared Performance DNA
Both the Aprilia RS 457 and the Tuono 457 are built upon the same robust platform and are powered by an identical 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine is engineered to deliver a spirited performance, producing a healthy 47.6 horsepower and 43.5 Nm of torque. These figures provide ample power for exhilarating acceleration and agile handling, making both models suitable for spirited riding on twisty roads and enjoyable daily commutes. Mechanically, the bikes remain unchanged, ensuring riders experience the same potent and refined performance that Aprilia is renowned for. The consistency in their powertrain means that the choice between the faired RS 457 and the naked Tuono 457 largely comes down to personal preference in styling and ergonomics, rather than performance differences.
