Cockpit: Pilot's Dream
Step inside the Fenomeno Roadster and experience a cabin designed to immerse you in the thrill of driving, mirroring its coupe sibling's 'Feel like a Pilot'
ethos. This fighter jet-inspired environment is replete with striking carbon fibre accents adorning the centre console and door panels, enhancing the sense of bespoke luxury. The bucket seats, featuring contrasting red stitching, are engineered to provide exceptional support during even the most demanding cornering maneuvers, ensuring occupants remain secure and comfortable. The technological heart of the cockpit comprises a trio of displays: a primary 12.3-inch screen for the driver, a central 8.4-inch touchscreen for infotainment, and an estimated 9.1-inch display for the passenger, all contributing to a futuristic and intuitive control interface. The dashboard is further punctuated by innovative 3D-printed air vents, adding a unique and modern touch to the overall design.
Aerodynamics & Exterior
The Fenomeno Roadster showcases a striking 'Blu Cepheus' exterior, accented with 'Rossa Mars' details, a deliberate homage to the iconic 1968 Miura Roadster and the colours of Bologna. Lamborghini has meticulously reworked key aerodynamic surfaces, incorporating new elements to match the coupe's downforce and stability levels. A redesigned flat windshield, complete with an integrated spoiler, expertly directs airflow away from the cabin and towards the engine bay for enhanced cooling. The front fascia is characterized by aggressive LED headlamps, sharp body lines, generous air intakes, and distinctive hexagonal design motifs. Along the flanks, well-defined lines and prominent air intakes behind the doors lead to a long tail reminiscent of the Essenza SCV12. The roadster rides on bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Sport semi-slick tires, mounted on 21-inch rims at the front and larger 22-inch rims at the rear. The rear features a captivating engine bay cover with a vertical red stripe, signature boomerang-shaped tail-lights, a centrally mounted hexagonal exhaust, an aerodynamically optimized diffuser, and an active rear wing for sustained high-speed stability.
Chassis and Performance
The engineering marvel of the Fenomeno Roadster extends to its chassis, which achieves rigidity and stiffness comparable to the coupe, with only a marginal increase in weight. This remarkable feat is accomplished through the innovative use of long and short carbon fibre strands combined with a proprietary fluid mixture. These chassis advancements are not only crucial for meeting performance objectives but also significantly enhance energy absorption in the event of a collision. This marks a pioneering application of this novel patented technology within a hybrid configuration on a production Lamborghini. The roadster is propelled by a potent 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine, augmented by three electric motors, delivering a combined output of an astonishing 1080hp. This power is managed by an 8-speed DCT gearbox, and a 7kWh battery pack supplies energy to the electric motors. Despite the structural enhancements, the roadster matches the coupe's blistering acceleration, achieving 0-100kph in just 2.4 seconds. It continues its impressive surge to 200kph in 6.8 seconds and boasts a top speed exceeding 340kph, cementing its status as a performance benchmark.
