Price & Colour Updates
Motorcycle enthusiasts in India are in for some good news as the 2026 models of the Aprilia RS 457 and Tuono 457 have been launched with revised pricing.
Following an earlier price hike due to the implementation of the GST 2.0 tax slab, Aprilia has now managed to bring the figures down, making these performance bikes more accessible. The Aprilia RS 457 is now available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.22 lakh. This new pricing structure also applies to the recently introduced Coral Blue Snake and Arsenic Yellow colour options, which were first showcased at India Bike Week 2025. This move aims to offer greater value to prospective buyers, re-establishing a competitive edge in the market segment.
GP Replica Details
Beyond the standard variants, Aprilia is also continuing to offer the RS 457 GP Replica, a model that made its global debut at the EICMA show in late 2025. This special edition comes with a price tag of Rs 4.37 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it approximately Rs 15,000 higher than the regular RS 457. The GP Replica draws significant design inspiration from Aprilia's own RS-GP race machine, boasting distinctive graphics that emphasize its racing pedigree. It comes equipped with premium features as standard, including adjustable clutch and brake levers for personalized ergonomics and a bi-directional quickshifter, enhancing gear changes for a sportier riding experience. For customers opting for other paint schemes, the quickshifter can be added as an optional extra for an additional Rs 25,000.
Tuono 457 Adjustments
The Aprilia Tuono 457, initially launched in January 2025 with an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.95 lakh, experienced a notable increase to Rs 4.24 lakh after the introduction of GST 2.0 in December 2025. This tax revision imposed a 40 percent rate on motorcycles exceeding 350 cc, directly impacting the pricing of many performance bikes. However, Aprilia has now adjusted the Tuono 457's price downwards to Rs 3.97 lakh. This revised figure represents an increase of only Rs 2,000 from its original launch price, and a significant reduction of Rs 27,000 from its post-GST price, making it a more attractive proposition once again.
Unchanged Powertrain
Despite the external adjustments in pricing and colour options, the core mechanicals of both the RS 457 and Tuono 457 remain precisely the same. Both motorcycles continue to be powered by the same robust 457 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This powerplant delivers a healthy output of 47.6 hp and 43.5 Nm of torque, providing ample performance for both street riding and spirited sessions. Furthermore, the RS 457 and Tuono 457 share critical components such as the chassis and swingarm, underlining their shared engineering foundation. The Tuono 457 is positioned as the naked streetfighter variant, offering a different riding posture and aesthetic compared to the fully-faired RS 457, catering to diverse rider preferences.
