Unfortunate Airport Collision

event transpired at Bay No. 51, where a catering truck, while being maneuvered to begin its service, unexpectedly lurched forward. This unintended movement led to a collision with the engine of a stationary IndiGo aircraft. Fortunately, the impact was not severe, resulting in only minor damage to the aircraft. Authorities were promptly informed of the mishap, and investigations were initiated to understand the precise cause of the vehicle's unexpected acceleration. The focus remains on ensuring the safety of airport operations and preventing future occurrences.
Aircraft Grounded for Checks
Following the collision, the affected IndiGo aircraft was immediately taken out of service and grounded for comprehensive inspections. This occurred during a low-altitude go-around maneuver necessitated by adverse weather conditions.
