For those looking to return from Ooty, the special train operates on Saturdays and Mondays, starting March 28th and continuing until July 6th. Beyond the special summer operations, the regular train service on the Mettupalayam to Ooty route continues to offer a delightful travel experience. This standard service departs from Mettupalayam each morning at 7:10 am, guiding passengers through the enchanting Nilgiri mountain terrain. The journey culminates with arrival in Ooty by 12:00 pm, providing a comfortable and scenic commencement to a day in the hills.
