Annual Pass Unveiled
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) introduced the FASTag Annual Pass to make highway travel more convenient. This pass allows commuters to traverse
up to 200 tolls or enjoy a full year of travel, depending on which comes first. The pass is set to launch on August 15, 2025.
How to Get Yours
To apply, visit the Rajmarg Yatra mobile app or the NHAI/MoRTH website. Log in using your vehicle registration number and FASTag ID. After selecting the Annual Pass option, pay Rs 3,000 through internet banking, UPI, or card options. The pass activates after a verification, usually within two or three hours.
Benefits & Usage
This pass works on NHAI and MoRTH-managed National Highways and Expressways, like the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway. This is a great option for private vehicle owners, eliminating long queues, reducing recharges, and preventing toll fraud. Once activated, you'll receive an SMS confirmation.
Important Considerations
The FASTag Annual Pass, available for Rs 3,000, is exclusively for private vehicles. Commercial vehicles are not eligible. Ensure your FASTag is active and linked to the vehicle. This pass can be used for a whole year or up to 200 tolls.
