New Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 950th career goal as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Hazm 2-0 to maintain their all-win start to the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo
scored in the 88th minute, tapping in from inside the box to double Al Nassr’s lead. It was his sixth goal in the Saudi Arabian top-flight and seventh overall this season.
Joao Felix had put them ahead in the 25th minute with a powerful header, while his compatriot and Portugal captain ensured three points with a clinical strike from close range for Al Nassr’s sixth successive win in the league that keep them atop the standings.
It was Ronaldo’s 80th strike in the Saudi league and 106th for AL Nassr after leaving Manchester United in December 2022 on a bumper deal.
