Mumbai: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will tie the knot on February 26. Ahead of the intimate wedding, the couple had a sangeet celebration with
their loved ones. In a video now going viral, Vijay’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda, is heard announcing a special surprise performance for the couple.
She is heard saying, “We love you.” The video also captured the venue decorated with lights and a signboard that carried the image of the beautiful couple. Vijay and Rasmika’s sangeet reportedly took place on Tuesday night.
The couple’s pre-wedding festivities began with a special Japanese dinner for guests. It was then followed by a volleyball and cricket match. Meanwhile, the couple did not share pictures of themselves at these events on social media. However, they offered a glimpse to their fans with a few pictures. The couple’s wedding celebrations are taking place at the ITC Mementos hotel, Udaipur.

The couple, who remained tight-lipped about their relationship and engagement, confirmed the news of their wedding on February 22.
“Our Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves, you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today, with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it, ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us, always. Vijay and Rashmika met on the set of Geetha Govindam in 2018. After its success at the box office, they united for Dear Comrade the following year. Soon after, the couple gained massive popularity, and fans gushed over their enviable chemistry.
