New Delhi: Even after the gas runs out, there is still a little gas (LPG Supply) left in the cylinder. This time, the country’s state-owned oil companies
are going to take alternative measures to ensure that even that gas is not wasted. Emphasis is being placed on new technology. Companies like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum are encouraging large industrial and commercial customers to use the Liquid LPG Off-Take system . It is believed that the amount of unused gas in the cylinder will be reduced to a great extent through this technology.
What is this Liquid LPG off-take technology?
Generally, LPG is extracted from the cylinder in the form of vapor. In this method, some amount of LPG remains inside the cylinder, due to which it is not possible to use the entire fuel. In Liquid LPG Off-take technology, LPG is extracted in liquid state with the help of special equipment. Then it is converted back into gas and used. In this, the cylinder becomes almost completely empty and the wastage of fuel is significantly reduced.
