No fuel shortage: check today’s LPG prices

New Delhi: Amid the escalating tensions in West Asia, there has been a shortage of LPG supplies in many parts of the country. Reports of LPG cylinder shortages

and black marketing have been emerging from some areas across the country. However, in a huge sigh of relief, LPG refill bookings have reduced to about 77 lakh from 88.8 lakh earlier, indicating some easing of panic buying. The government has been repeatedly saying that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel or cooking gas, and supplies remain stable despite the US-Israel and Iran war.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to stock black marketing and panic buying, officials of PSU Oil Marketing companies are conducting surprise inspections at LPG distributorships to ensure smooth supply and prevent irregularities.

“Citizens are advised not to resort to panic buying as adequate stocks of petrol and diesel are available across the country,” the update said.
