Who is Nikita Porwal?
Nikita Porwal has already made a name for herself in the Indian beauty pageant circuit. Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, she won the Femina Miss India World title in 2024, earning her the opportunity to represent India at Miss World.
In an exclusive conversation with News9 Digital, she opened up about representing India at the prestigious pageant and said, “It feels like an incredible privilege more than pressure. Every time I wear the INDIA sash, I’m reminded that I’m carrying the love, culture and aspirations of over a billion people. That responsibility humbles me every single day. My goal isn’t just to compete well, but to make every Indian feel proud of the way I represent our country—with grace, sincerity and my whole heart.”
“It is a deeply emotional moment for me because I’m not just fulfilling my own dream, I’m creating a first for my state. Madhya Pradesh has given me my roots, my values and my identity. If my journey encourages even one young girl from a small town to believe that her dreams are valid, I think this milestone becomes much bigger than me. It becomes hope for many others,” she added.
Nikita Porwal’s stuns with her dance
Nikita also caught attention with her striking appearance at the Miss World Dances of the World event. For the occasion, she opted for a dramatic black-and-gold ensemble. Her sculpted blouse was detailed with gold accents and delicate body chains, while a colourful draped skirt completed the look.

In her Instagram post, she wrote sharing the pictures, “A celebration of India, told through colour, craft and the spirit of the Devi. For Dances of the World, I wore this extraordinary bespoke creation by @toraniofficial, inspired by Meenakshi, the Goddess in Colour. The look brings together rich, kaleidoscopic hues, intricate embroidery, hand tapka detailing and a fluid dhoti style silhouette that beautifully bridges heritage and modernity.”
