3. Madhav Vilas Palace

At the district museum, one can see a collection of old historical and cultural artefacts. It also consists of old Rajput and Maratha paintings, coins, sculptures, and antiques.
6. Tatya Tope Memorial Park
Who doesn’t know Ramachandra Pandurang Tope or Tatya Tope? You can get a glimpse of the life of the brave freedom fighter and Maratha leader, who sacrificed his life in the 1857 uprising during the battle for independence. Tatya Tope’s role was crucial in capturing Gwalior.
7. Banganga Temple
Banganga is an ancient architectural temple with idols of Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva. It is famous for its 52 holy kunds. As per legends, the epic Mahabharata’s Arjuna shot an arrow into the ground to get water to quench Bhishma’s thirst. Hence the name Banganga, as ‘ban’ means arrow and ‘Ganga’ is the River Ganges.
8. Karera Sanctuary
Karera Wildlife Sanctuary was set up to protect the Great Indian Bustard and Blackbuck in the region. It is filled with deciduous forests, acacia, riverine, and swamp vegetation and migratory birds at Dihaliya Lake.

Suraya ki Garhi is a small town located 20 km from Shivpuri. A popular Lord Shiva temple is a must-visit for its exquisite architecture here. The Garhi auditorium is constructed completely from stone. Music and dance mantras waver in the arena.
