Members of the Parasakthi team, including lead actor Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, and National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar, were present at the Pongal 2026 celebrations. The visit coincided with cultural performances hosted in the capital, turning the festival into a moment of visibility for the film and its makers.

GV Prakash shared glimpses from the meeting on social media, calling it a proud and unforgettable experience. Posting a photograph from the event, he wrote, “#thiruvaasagam was performed in #pongal2026 celebration at Delhi in front of our honourable prime minister @narendramodi sir @murugan_tnbjp (sic).” The caption immediately caught attention, with fans praising the composer for showcasing Tamil cultural music on a national platform.
One image that stood out featured Sivakarthikeyan smiling warmly as Prime Minister Modi greeted GV Prakash. The actor’s expression, filled with pride and excitement, resonated strongly online. Another photograph from the gathering showed the Prime Minister seated alongside Sivakarthikeyan, GV Prakash, Ravi Mohan, Kenishaa and other dignitaries in the front row, underlining the significance of the occasion.
Adding to the moment, GV Prakash performed a track from his Tamil pride album Thiruvaasagam during the event on January 14.
