New Delhi: KTM has unveiled the 1390 Super Duke RR Track, a purpose-built, track-only machine that sits at the top of its performance portfolio. Limited
to just 100 units globally, it is also the most powerful production model the Austrian brand has ever made.
The RR Track is the first track-only Super Duke in KTM’s lineup. Without all the elements required to make it road-legal, it has been made to meet strict FIM circuit rules with a clear focus on delivering maximum performance on track.

The 1390 Super Duke RR Track is built at KTM’s Mattighofen facility, it weights at 177 kg (without fuel), which is 9 kg less than the street-legal 1390 Super Duke RR and 20 kg less than the standard 1390 Super Duke R. The weight saving is down to heavy usage of carbon fibre bodywork, forged magnesium wheels, titanium fasteners and a full titanium Akrapovic Evolution Line exhaust. KTM has also simplified the electronics package in line with its track-only brief.
The power is taken from the latest version of KTM’s LC8 V-twin, making 196 bhp and 151 Nm of torque. With the ram-air effect at speed, output rises to 202bhp, giving it a claimed power-to-weight ratio of over 1:1. The engine is mated with a redesigned ram-air intake and a bigger 10-litre airbox to improve airflow and performance.
Cycle parts include WP Pro suspension brought from MotoGP technology and a Superbike-spec Brembo braking system. The front comes with Brembo GP4 MS brake callipers with T-Drive discs, while the back comes with a Brembo P2.34 calliper with a wave disc, along with Crosa Corta master cylinders. Micheline Power Performance slick tyres are also standard, and the RR Track also gets winglets to increase downforce and reduce front-wheel lift.
The electronic suite gets three dedicated track ride modes, with adjustability for parameters like wheelie control, engine brake control, and the lot. There’s also a simplified 4.2-inch TFT display like the one seen on 390 Enduro R with a track-focused interface that handles rider information, and switchgear has been reduced for ease of use on the circuit.
Ergonomics have been tailored for track riding with a lower handlebar, a revised tank shape for better support under braking and even comes with a high level of rider adjustability. The bike also comes with a 17.5-litre fuel tank designed for optimal weight distribution, along with a single-seat configuration supported by a carbon fibre undertray.
