out and the refill takes time, preparing regular meals can become difficult for many families.
In such situations, electric kitchen appliances can help keep cooking going. Many appliances that run on electricity can perform the same basic tasks as a gas stove, including boiling, frying, steaming and reheating food. Some of them can even handle multiple cooking functions in one device.
Induction cooktop
An induction cooktop can work as a direct replacement for a gas stove in many kitchens. It heats utensils using electromagnetic energy instead of a flame. The heat is produced inside the cookware rather than on the surface of the stove.
Most induction cooktops come with touch or button controls that allow users to adjust temperature levels for tasks like boiling water, frying vegetables or simmering food.
Microwave oven
A microwave oven heats food using microwave energy that moves water molecules inside the food. There are also various versions of it which allows them to bake, roast, grill and reheat food. Because of these features, a microwave can handle several cooking tasks usually done on a stove or oven.
Electric pressure cooker
An electric pressure cooker cooks food quickly using steam pressure. It has a sealed pot and a heating element which creates high pressure and increases the cooking temperature inside while cooking. Which helps prepare foods faster such as rice, lentils, vegetables and meat.
Air fryer
The air fryers work as it is named. It has a heating element and uses a high-speed fan to circulate super-hot air which helps it to aircook food just by circulating hot air around it and that cooks the food evenly.

An electric rice cooker is mainly used to cook rice, but many models can also steam vegetables or other foods. The appliance boils water and keeps heating the rice until the water is absorbed.
