New Delhi: Marvel’s upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday, is already making a lot of buzz ever since its announcement. Now, the studio has kicked off its global
campaign with the unveiling of a new concept poster featuring Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth ahead of its grand trailer launch.
Not only this, but the first clear look at Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom mask was also shared through a concept art poster by former Marvel visual department director, Andy Park.
Doctor: Doomsday new concept poster
The concept artwork was unveiled during a promotional event in China, and it quickly went viral on social media, sparking excitement among fans. The poster features Doctor Doom in the front and centre and also features Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Shang-Chi, Black Panther, and the new Avengers.

Marvel also released a special video message featuring the star cast of the film. The message was opened by Robert Downey Jr, who said, “We’re taking a quick break from the set of Avengers: Doomsday, and wanted to say ‘hello’ to all you lovely people.”

Chris Evans then added, “Doomsday is coming and the stakes have never been higher. Witnessing how much you love this universe and these characters, keeps us going.”

Chris Hemsworth promised Marvel’s biggest spectacle yet. “Like our collective boss and friend Kevin will soon tell you, we are working hard to make this the most epic movie yet. We’ll see you soon.”

Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, also revealed how Robert Downey Jr reacted when he was offered the role of Doctor Doom. He said, “His exact words were, ‘I played the best hero…I can play the best villain.”

Most of the characters featured on the concept art poster closely match the leaks that have been circulating online for months. While Marvel Studios has not officially released the artwork, it was showcased during a China event hosted by Kevin Feige, suggesting the long-rumoured leaks may indeed be accurate.
Doctor Doom mask look out
On July 11, former Marvel department director Andy Park took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the same concept artwork of Doctor Doom’s iconic mask, featuring other characters.
He wrote in the caption, “AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY – the final full film I had the honour of leading as Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios. This illustration commemorates that journey & reveals the characters & their looks for the first time. #AvengersDoomsday.”

The artwork features first look of Nightcrawler, a mysterious image of Loki, Beast, and Mystique, who had not been seen in promotional material.
Marvel to return to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con
Meanwhile, the promotional campaign for Doctor: Doomsday will head to San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel Studios is preparing for its highly anticipated return to Hall H after skipping the event in recent years.
Reports also suggest that the film’s first official trailer is expected to be released on July 25, shortly after Comic-Con. Directed by the Russo Brothers, the film is scheduled to release in theatres globally on December 18, 2026.
