Baramati: Maharashtra Deputy chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four other died in a plane crash on Wednesday morning. The mishap happened in Baramati during
the landing of the jet.
As per reports, Ajit Pawar, two pilots and Pawar’s PSO PN Jadhav have died in the crash, that happened
when the aircraft was attempting to land.
What we know so far
Plane was carrying a total of six persons including Ajit Pawar. They were travelling from Mumbai to Baramati.
As per the reports available, the crash happened while the jet was trying to land at Baramati.
Police and rescue teams, along with senior officials and security agencies have reached the spot and are assessing the situation.
Supriya Sule, Sunetra Pawar and Parth Pawar are set to leave for Baramati from Delhi. Supriya Sule, Sunetra Pawar and Parth Pawar are together at Sharad Pawar’s residence.
