New Delhi: Tamannaah and Sidharth Malhotra entertained the audience at a recent film event, where their easy camaraderie and light-hearted exchanges became
one of the highlights of the evening.
During the interaction, Tamannaah complimented Sidharth on his looks and spoke about how pleased she was to finally have an opportunity to work with him. Her remarks prompted an equally playful response from the actor, who used Tamannaah’s name — which translates to “wish” or “desire” — to joke that working with her had fulfilled one of his wishes.
The conversation soon moved beyond their humorous exchange, with Tamannaah sharing her impressions of Sidharth as a colleague. Looking back at nearly two decades in Indian cinema, she said his kindness and courteous nature had particularly stood out during their time together.
While Sidharth is frequently complimented for his appearance, Tamannaah said she was equally impressed by the person behind the public image. She recalled the affection and warmth he extended to those around him on set and credited him with helping make the project a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Tamannaah also had affectionate words for Shweta Tiwari. Speaking about the rapport they share, she described it as an unusually strong and instinctive connection, almost as though the two had known each other in another lifetime.
She added that she has long felt there was something they were destined to work on together and expressed her excitement about finally bringing that connection to the screen.
The two actors will be seen together in The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, a folk thriller that draws on mythology and supernatural elements. Set against the backdrop of a mysterious forest, the story follows a city-bred man whose return to his ancestral village brings him face-to-face with forces that challenge his rational worldview. The film also features Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul and Anup Soni. Backed by Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF), the film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 25, 2026.
