New Delhi: Jaguar F-Pace production has come to an end after a decade, the final unit rolling out of the Solihull factory in the UK, making way for the brand’s
only EV plans. The final F-Pace will be presented to the Jaguar Heritage Trust with other final units from the brand.
The Jaguar F-Pace was the first SUV in the British marque’s history and made its public debut at the Detroit Auto Show in 2015, which back in the day was known as the North American International Auto Show, before going on sale globally in 2016. In India, the luxury SUV arrived later that year, in October, initially offered exclusively with diesel powertrains. In 2018, Jaguar expanded the portfolio by bringing a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
The F-Pace received its only facelift in 2021, bringing new and refreshed styling cues and upgrading the feature set. In its final form, the SUV came with two engine choices, one being a 247hp 2.0-litre petrol and a 204hp 2.0-litre diesel. Both engines were paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system.
Both options were priced at Rs 72.90 lakh, making the F-Pace a premium, performance-oriented SUV.
With the F-Pace departure from production, Jaguar have effectively drawn the curtain on internal combustion engines across their model range. Currently, the brand has no ICE-powered vehicles in their global portfolio.
Jaguar’s future as an EV-specific brand

The shift was formally underlined back in November 2024, when Jaguar revealed their new brand identity, coming with revised logos and design language. A month later, the brand revealed the dramatic Type 00 concept, giving a glimpse into the design direction of its next-generation models.
The first production model based on this new philosophy is going to be a four-door electric GT, slated for a reveal by the end of this year, but due to a big cyberattack in August of 2025, production had to be halted at Solihull, Halewood and Wolverhampton factories. The factories resumed manufacturing in October 2025, but the EV launch had to be delayed.
The upcoming four-door EV will be made at their Solihull plant and is expected to debut first in North America and Europe. If Jaguar decides to bring it to India, it might rival established electric performance sedans like the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT.
