New Delhi: Political strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor’s previous prediction thatVijay’s TVK could win by contesting alone in the Tamil Nadu
elections has resurfaced on social media.
Kishor was the special political advisor for Vijay’s party. He had earlier told Tamil Nadu-based Thanthi TV that Vijay has a strong chance if he decides to go solo in Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.
When he was asked if he saw any possibility of an alliance with AIADMK, Kishor quipped: “Absolutely.” He added: “The commitment is to go alone, absolutely. I don’t see that changing. If he goes alone, he stands a very good chance.”
When asked further about what he meant by “good chance”, Kishor said: “Good chance to win Tamil Nadu.”
Reacting to a question whether TVK can win 118 seats, the majority mark required to form the government in Tamil Nadu, Kishor underlined: “Yes, absolutely. Keep this video and play it when results are out.”

His comments go viral
Kishor’s comments are now going viral on social media as Vijay’s party TVK is leading in more than 103 out of the 234 seats in Tamil Nadu, well ahead of both major regional alliances — the DMK and the AIADMK.
Kishor, who has devised strategies for electoral victories for several political parties, was brought on board by Vijay in Tamil Nadu for his electoral debut in the state. Vijay reportedly felt that Kishor’s inputs and strategy could prove valuable during the elections.
The TVK opted to go solo and did not join either of the two alliances in the state. His party contested all the 234 seats alone.
