New Delhi: Novak Djokovic beat Taylor Fritz and advanced to the semifinals of the US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York on Wednesday. The Serbian
defeated Fritz 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 to reach the 14th semifinal at the US Open. This will be his 53rd Grand Slam semifinal appearance, which is the most by any player since the Open Era began. He will take on Carlos Alcaraz in the blockbuster semifinal of the tournament on September 6.
