has announced that you can now gift an annual FASTag pass to your family and friends. The FASTag Annual Pass can be an ideal present for frequent travellers, offering them ease and comfort during their journeys.
This initiative allows yearlong, hassle-free travel on National Highways and Expressways across the country. You can also purchase a plan for yourself if you travel often or frequently cross state borders. It’s not only a convenient upgrade for your driving experience but also a cost-efficient travel option.
How to Gift a FASTag Pass This Diwali
You can easily gift a FASTag pass through the RajmargYatra app. Simply click on the ‘Add Pass’ option, then enter the vehicle number and contact details of the person you wish to gift the FASTag Annual Pass to. After a quick OTP verification, the annual pass will be activated on the FASTag linked to that vehicle. The FASTag Annual Pass provides a seamless and economical travel option for highway users and is applicable at around 1,150 toll plazas across India.
Benefits of the FASTag Annual Plan
The annual pass eliminates the need for frequent recharges by allowing a one-time fee payment of Rs 3,000 for one year or 200 toll plaza crossings. It is especially beneficial for people who travel frequently or regularly cross state borders.
However, if you rarely travel and you only go on a long drive once a year or cross state borders occasionally, then the annual plan might not be cost-effective for you. The pass is available for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and gets activated within two hours of payment through the RajmargYatra app.
