New Delhi: The results of JEE Advanced 2026 have been officially announced by IIT Roorkee, bringing an end to the wait for lakhs of engineering aspirants
across the country. While the result was originally scheduled to be released at 10 am on Sunday, candidates were able to access their scores shortly after midnight.
Students who appeared for the examination can now check their results through the official JEE Advanced portal by logging in with their roll number, date of birth and other required credentials. The scorecard includes details such as Common Rank List (CRL) rank, category rank, marks obtained and qualification status.
This year’s examination recorded strong participation from students nationwide. Out of 1,87,389 registered candidates, 1,79,694 appeared for both papers conducted on May 17.
How to check JEE Advanced 2026 result
To access the scorecard, the candidates have to visit the official website jeeadv.ac.in and then click on ‘JEE Advanced Results 2026’. After that, fill in the login details – roll number, date of birth, and registered mobile number and click submit. The results will be available on the screen with the option to download and save the scorecards.
A total of 56,880 candidates have qualified for the examination and will now move on to the next stage of the admission process. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process is set to begin on June 2 where qualified students can register and fill in their preferred IITs and courses.
Top rankers in JEE Advanced 2026
Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone secured All India Rank 1 in the Common Rank List with an impressive score of 330 out of 360 marks. Kabeer Chhillar, also from the IIT Delhi zone, secured AIR 2 with 329 marks, while Jatin Chahar claimed AIR 3 with 319 marks.
Among female candidates, Arohi Deshpande from the IIT Delhi zone emerged as the highest-ranked woman candidate. She scored 280 marks and secured 77th rank in the Common Rank List.
With the results now out, the focus shifts to JoSAA counselling and seat allocation for admission to IITs and other premier engineering institutions across India.
