New Delhi: Oracle has partnered with the Uttar Pradesh State Skill Development Mission to train 3 lakh students and professionals in AI, cloud, cybersecurity
and data science by 2029. The programme was announced on Monday and is aimed at building job-ready digital skills in one of India’s largest talent markets.
The training will be delivered through UPSDM’s Oracle MyLearn platform and will be free for learners. The move comes at a time when AI and cloud skills are becoming part of hiring conversations across IT services, startups, government projects, telecom firms and even small businesses.
Oracle, UPSDM to train 3 lakh learners by 2029
Under the partnership, students and working professionals will get access to more than 300 hours of structured learning. The training paths will cover Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OCI Enterprise AI, OCI Data Science, Oracle APEX, OCI DevOps and Oracle Security.
Oracle said, “The program will be delivered for free as a digital learning experience through UPSDM’s Oracle MyLearn, which is a comprehensive training and enablement platform from Oracle University that is used by millions of trainees around the world.”
Why this matters for Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh has a large base of students and young job seekers. Many of them are looking beyond traditional degrees, mostly since employers now ask for practical skills along with certificates.
The Oracle and UPSDM programme could help learners from smaller cities and towns access structured tech training without paying course fees. For someone sitting in Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur or Bareilly, that can make a difference if internet access and local support are in place.
The platform will offer foundational cloud training, professional certifications and learning options for different skill levels. That means a beginner can start with the basics, while a working professional can aim for more specialised training.
