The model also improves how it works with images. It can now process higher resolution visuals and handle detailed tasks like reading complex diagrams.

Safety features and limits in place
The company is taking a cautious approach with this release. It confirmed that Claude Opus 4.7 includes safeguards for cybersecurity related risks.
Anthropic said, “We are releasing Opus 4.7 with safeguards that automatically detect and block requests that indicate prohibited or high-risk cybersecurity uses.”
The model’s cyber capabilities are intentionally limited compared to Mythos Preview, which is still under restricted testing.
Availability, pricing and what it means
Claude Opus 4.7 is available across Anthropic’s products, APIs, and cloud platforms like Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud. Pricing remains the same as the previous version.
There are also new features like better memory across sessions and more control over how much effort the model uses for tasks.
