Bhooth Banga plot
Set in a fictional village of Mangalpur, the film revolves around a haunted mansion, where a demonic entity named Vadhusur haunts newlywed wives. However, Arjun Acharya (Akshay Kumar) ignores the curse and disappearance of brides and plans to host his sister’s wedding in his grandfather’s ancestral palace, triggering a series of spooky events.

Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla collected Rs 232.78 crore worldwide in just 20 days of its theatrical run. The film earned Rs 84.40 crore in its first week, Rs 43.75 crore in its second week, Rs 4.50 crore after 15 days of run, and Rs 148.25 crore India net after 20 days of run. The film also minted Rs 15 lakh in the overseas market.
