New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education has officially declared the CBSE Class 12 board exam result 2026. Lakhs of students across the country
can now access their scorecards through the board’s official websites and digital portals.
Students can check their Class 12 results by visiting the official CBSE websites, including cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Apart from the official websites, marksheets are also available through DigiLocker and the UMANG app. Students need to enter their roll number, school number and admit card ID to access their results online.
Due to heavy traffic immediately after the announcement, some students may experience delays in loading the website. Authorities have advised students not to panic and to try again after some time if the website becomes slow.
The CBSE Class 12 board examinations were conducted between February and April 2026 across thousands of examination centres in India and abroad. Students from Science, Commerce and Humanities streams appeared for the exams.
This year too, CBSE continued its policy of not releasing an official merit list in order to avoid unhealthy competition among students. However, schools across the country have reported outstanding performances by several students in different streams.
Following the declaration of results, students can now begin the admission process for colleges and universities. Many higher educational institutions are expected to start undergraduate admissions soon based on Class 12 scores and entrance exams.

Students need to follow the below mentioned steps to check the CBSE board exam result online-
Step 1: Visit the official website – cbseresults.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage click on the Class 12 result link.
Step 3: Log-in using credentials such as registration number and date of birth
Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and save the CBSE Class 12 result for future use.
CBSE Class 12 marks verification
Students who are not satisfied with their marks will also have the option to apply for verification of marks, photocopies of answer sheets and re-evaluation within the schedule announced by CBSE. The board is also expected to release compartment examination details shortly for students who could not clear one or more subjects.
