New Delhi: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has launched a digital platform called “Satyagraha”, aimed at bringing information
about protests and public movements across India onto a single platform.
The initiative was announced on Saturday, a day after Mahatma Gandhi’s 157th birth anniversary. Rahul Gandhi invoked the Mahatma’s philosophy of Satyagraha, which is associated with peaceful resistance based on truth.
The platform allows people involved in protests to submit information about their cause. Their submissions can then be displayed on an interactive map, allowing users to identify other movements dealing with similar issues.

Announcing the initiative on X, Rahul Gandhi said people across the country were raising concerns over different issues but often had to fight individually.
“People across the country are fighting for their rights and often fighting alone. Gen Z, students, farmers, tribals, Dalits, women — every struggle has its own story. But the voice that rises alone often gets suppressed. ‘Satyagraha’ is an initiative to bring these voices together on a map. Bapu taught us this; truth is the greatest weapon. But an even greater weapon is standing together with truth in unity. If you’re also fighting against any injustice, share your story. It will take two minutes,” he said.
The platform is designed to show submitted stories on a common map and help people find others involved in similar causes.
