New Delhi: Several areas, including Marathahalli, Bellandur, Horamavu, HAL Airport, Hoodi, Jakkur, and K.R. Puram, are likely to witness heavy rains, while
some will have light to moderate rains. A waterlogging problem might occur in various places, including the outer ring road, Mahadevapura limits, K.R. Puram main road, Varthur road, Forum Mall, Whitefield, Panathur railway underpass, etc.
The rainwater drainage system didn’t run smoothly and flooded many roads, creating chaos. Riders were in distress as more than one foot of water stood on the road. Bikes and cars plied on the waterlogged roads. Vehicular traffic was slow due to the flood situation. Employees and the public who were returning home after work suffered from the heavy rain.

The capital, Bengaluru, is likely to witness similar rainy weather for the next couple of days. The maximum temperature will be 32-33 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be 22 degrees Celsius. The wind speed will be 40 kilometers per hour, and a warning of heavy rain has been issued in some places. The Bengaluru Meteorological Centre said that there is no possibility of heavy rain at present.

According to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Management Centre (KSNDMC), by 7 pm today, HAL Airport recorded 50 mm of rainfall, Horamavu-2 34.5 mm of rainfall, Marathahalli, 33 mm of rainfall, Doddanekundi 27.5 mm of rainfall, Jakkur-2 27 mm of rainfall, Hoodi 18 mm of rainfall, Horamavu 17.4 mm rainfall, Ramamurthy Nagar, 17 mm of rainfall, Bellandur 16 mm of rainfall and K.R. Puram, 14.5 mm of rainfall.
Cloudy weather has developed in various places, including Koramangala, Dairy Circle, Hebbal, Yelahanka, Vijayanagar, and Rajarajeshwari Nagar. Occasional rain is expected here. There are signs of thundershowers in some places, and the rain is likely to continue till late Tuesday night.
