New Delhi: A hilarious video from a shaadi wala ghar has gone viral after a family paid a delivery executive from Blinkit with a traditional “noton ki mala”
or currency garland, instead of handing over regular cash.
The lighthearted clip, shared on Instagram by Bhavya Shridhar, has left social media users amused and has quickly become a talking point online.
The video captures a family in the middle of wedding celebrations when a Blinkit delivery agent arrives with an order.
According to the clip, the total bill amounted to Rs 2,000. When the delivery executive asked for change, the family decided to turn the simple transaction into a memorable wedding moment.

Instead of giving loose cash, they handed over a currency garland worth Rs 2,100.
In the now-viral clip, Shridhar can be heard saying, “There’s actually a wedding at our house. Blinkit’s bill was Rs 2000. Now the Blinkit delivery guy is saying, ‘Give me some change, it’s fine.’ So here, giving money to the Blinkit delivery guy.”
The delivery agent is then seen sporting the garland around his neck as the family bursts into laughter.
Adding to the humour, family members jokingly told him he would have to untie the notes himself as they were too occupied with wedding festivities.
Shridhar later adds, “This is ₹2100. Now the garland is given to the Blinkit delivery guy. Now he can take it out himself.”
