New Delhi: BMW Group India has announced a price increase of up to 2 per cent across its BMW and MINI vehicle range from July 1, 2026. The company has linked
the move to rupee depreciation and higher logistics costs, which have been putting pressure on luxury carmakers in India.
For buyers looking at a BMW or MINI, this means the final on-road price may move up from next month. In luxury cars, even a small percentage change can make a noticeable difference.
BMW and MINI models to get costlier
The price increase will apply across BMW and MINI vehicles sold in India. BMW Group India said the hike is being introduced to protect standards amid macroeconomic pressure.
Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India, said the company is introducing a price increase of up to 2 per cent across its portfolio from July 1, 2026, due to rupee depreciation and rising logistics costs.
Locally made BMW cars in India
BMW locally produces several models in India. The list includes a mix of sedans, SUVs, performance cars and electric vehicles.

- BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe
- BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase
- BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase
- BMW 7 Series
- BMW X1
- BMW X3
- BMW X5
- BMW X7
- BMW M340i
- BMW iX1 Long Wheelbase
Imported BMW models also part of the range
BMW also sells several models as completely built-up units in India. These include the BMW i5 M60, BMW i7, BMW i7 M70, BMW iX, BMW M440i Convertible, BMW M2 Coupe, BMW M4 Competition, BMW M5 and BMW XM.
These imported models already sit at the higher end of the price ladder, so the increase may matter more for buyers finalising bookings in June.
What buyers should watch now
The price hike comes into effect from July 1. Buyers planning a purchase may check with dealers on booking terms, delivery timelines and whether existing bookings will be affected.
BMW India Financial Services will continue to offer finance plans, including monthly instalment options and buy-back plans.
