New Delhi: Royal Enfield has finally revealed the Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025 in Milan, officially bringing the iconic Bullet name into the 650cc segment.
This is a big moment, because the Bullet has always been known as a 350 in India, and now it is stepping into a more premium and powerful space.
Like the 350 series, the Bullet 650 also shares most of its platform, styling and mechanical parts with the Classic 650. But the Bullet badge has a different emotional value, especially for Indian riders. In my opinion as a Royal Enfield owner, the brand has played smartly by keeping the traditional Bullet charm alive with more power.
About Royal Enfield Bullet 650
The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is built on the same platform as the Classic 650, which means both bikes share the same frame, suspension setup, and overall dimensions. Their wheelbase, kerb weight, seat height, and ground clearance are identical. However, the Bullet 650 keeps its distinct old-school look that fans recognise instantly. It comes with a chrome headlight hood, hand-painted pinstripes on the fuel tank, classic metal badges, and twin pilot lamps beside the LED headlight, giving it that timeless Bullet charm.
Inside, the Bullet 650 uses the same digi-analogue instrument cluster as the Classic 650. It has an analogue speedometer and a small digital screen showing the fuel level and odometer reading. The polished aluminium switchgear and adjustable clutch and brake levers add a premium touch to the overall setup.

Powering the motorcycle is Royal Enfield’s 648cc parallel-twin engine, the same one seen on the company’s 650cc range, making 47hp and 52.3Nm of torque. Suspension duties are handled by a Showa telescopic fork at the front with 120mm travel and twin rear shock absorbers offering 112mm travel.
The Bullet 650 will be available in two colours, the traditional black, which has long been associated with the Bullet name, and a new blue shade. Although Royal Enfield hasn’t announced the official launch date for India, the bike is expected to make its debut at Motoverse 2025, scheduled for November 21.

Alongside it, Royal Enfield also presented a limited edition version of the Classic 650 to celebrate 125 years of the brand. This special model remains mechanically the same but gets an exclusive colour scheme that changes between red and gold depending on the light, along with a special ‘125 Years’ crest on the fuel tank and side panels.
