New Delhi: Royal Enfield has added a new variant to its Hunter 350 line-up, called the Base Premium. It is priced at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).
This new version sits between the entry-level Base variant and the higher trims, offering a few extra features without a big jump in price.
The idea behind this variant is likely to give buyers a slightly better-equipped option than the Base model while still keeping costs in check. Most of the core elements remain unchanged, but there are a few noticeable updates that make it more practical for daily use.

The biggest change is the use of 17-inch cast alloy wheels instead of spoke wheels seen on the Base variant. The tyres remain the same size as before, with a 100-section front and a 120-section rear, although they are slimmer compared to other Hunter variants that use wider 110/140 tyres.
The headlight is also improved. It gets a 54W halogen unit, which is more powerful than the one on the Base model. There is also a pilot lamp included. This setup is similar to what older Hunter models had before the 2025 update. A USB-C charging port is placed under the clutch lever, though it is not as fast as the one offered in higher variants.
Engine and pricing details
Mechanically, nothing has changed. The bike continues with the same 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 20hp and 27Nm of torque. The braking setup also stays the same, with a 300mm front disc and a 153mm rear drum brake, supported by single-channel ABS.
In terms of pricing, the Base Premium sits above the Rs 1.38 lakh Base variant. The overall Hunter 350 range now goes up to Rs 1.70 lakh. At the top end, new colour options like Moonshot White and Mumbai Yellow have also been introduced.
