New Delhi: Travelling to Jaipur and nearby cities has become costlier after toll charges were revised at several plazas around the Rajasthan capital. The
new rates apply to key routes such as the Jaipur-Delhi Highway, Jaipur-Sikar Bypass and Jaipur Ring Road.
The increase ranges from ₹5 to ₹30, depending on the vehicle category and toll plaza. Regular commuters may notice a small rise per trip, but the cost can add up quickly for people who travel through these routes every day. Commercial transport operators are likely to face a bigger monthly impact.

Jaipur-Delhi Highway toll rates rise
At the Manoharpur toll plaza, cars, jeeps and vans will now pay ₹5 more. Charges for mini-trucks, buses and heavy commercial vehicles have also gone up.
The sharper increase applies at the Shahjahanpur toll plaza. The toll for cars, jeeps and vans has risen from ₹195 to ₹215. This means private vehicle owners will pay ₹20 more for every trip through the plaza.
A daily traveller making a return trip could spend ₹40 more in one day. Over several journeys, that is no longer loose change hiding under the car seat.
Some private vehicle owners get relief
Private motorists using the Jaipur-Sikar Bypass and Jaipur Ring Road have escaped the latest increase.
At the Tatiyawas toll plaza on the Jaipur-Sikar Bypass, revised rates apply only to commercial vehicles. The same rule applies at the Sitarampura-Bassi toll plaza on the Jaipur Ring Road.
Cars, jeeps and vans will continue to pay the existing toll at both locations.

Transporters may face higher operating costs
The toll revision is expected to raise costs for buses, trucks and other commercial vehicles that make repeated trips between Jaipur, Delhi and nearby industrial areas.
Higher operating costs can affect freight bills, bus expenses and delivery charges. The effect of a single toll hike may appear limited, but transport vehicles often cross several plazas during one journey.
Motorists travelling on these routes should check the latest toll amount before leaving. Keeping enough FASTag balance may also help avoid delays at crowded plazas.
