Nick Jonas-Priyanka Chopra: Nick Jonas has once again won the internet. This time by joining a viral Bollywood trend centred around his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
The American singer recently shared a light-hearted Instagram reel where he’s seen grooving to the Hindi song Teri Dulhan Sajaoongi, all while enjoying a dosa at breakfast.
The video quickly grabbed attention online, not just for Nick’s enthusiastic head-bopping, but also for the context. The song, originally picturised on Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu in the 2005 film Barsaat, has been trending again on social media, with influencers and fans recreating it in their own quirky ways.

Nick captioned his reel with a cheeky line: “When they have dosa at the breakfast buffet.” The casual humour, paired with his earnest attempt to vibe to a Hindi track, struck a chord with fans across continents. Priyanka, clearly amused, reshared the video on her Instagram Stories, adding skull and laughing emojis, signalling she couldn’t stop laughing at her husband’s expressions.

The fun didn’t stop there. Earlier in the day, Priyanka also reshared an influencer’s reel dancing to the same song. She cheekily wrote, “Barsaat is the new trend? Seems like it,” while tagging Bobby Deol and Bipasha Basu. In another story, she tagged Bipasha again and added, “Lol babies,” keeping the mood playful and nostalgic.

About Teri Dulhan Sajaoongi
Teri Dulhan Sajaoongi was sung by Alka Yagnik and Kailash Kher, with music composed by Nadeem–Shravan. While Barsaat failed to make an impact at the box office, its soundtrack went on to enjoy lasting popularity, a fact reinforced by the song’s renewed viral moment two decades later.
Nick and Priyanka’s social media banter has long been a fan favourite, often blending pop culture from both worlds. From Bollywood dance challenges to desi food adventures, the couple continues to bridge cultures with humour and warmth.
On the work front
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is preparing for her return to Indian cinema with Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, and directed by SS Rajamouli. The couple, who tied the knot in December 2018, welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Jonas in January 2022.
