Kolkata: The Hero Motors IPO has been subscribed 1.48 times overall in its first day of bidding, September 16. The public issue was subscribed 2.38 times in the
retail category, 0.01 times in QIB (Ex Anchor) category and 1.33 times in the NII category. Hero Motors IPO is a book build issue designed to mobilise Rs 1,000.00 crore through a combination of fresh issue of 7.14 crore shares aggregating to Rs 600.00 crores and offer for sale of 4.76 crore share aggregating to Rs 400.00 crore.

According to investorgain, Hero Motors IPO GMP stood at Rs 13 in late night of September 16. Considering an upper price band of Rs 84.00, the estimated listing price for Hero Motors shares will be Rs 97 and the expected percentage gain/loss per share 15.48%. However, it must be kept in mind that GMP is an unofficial indicator that can be highly volatile and cannot guarantee any listing gain.

The Hero Motors IPO price band has been set at Rs 79-84 per share. For a retail investor, the minimum lot size for an application is 178 shares. The minimum amount of investment that a retail investor must commit is Rs 14,952 based on upper price. The company raised about Rs 300 crore from anchor investors on September 15.
ICICI Securities is the book running lead manager and Kfin Technologies is the registrar of the issue.

Today is the second day of bidding for Hero Motors issue. The bidding window will close on September 18, 2026. The allotment for the Hero Motors IPO is supposed to be conducted on September 21, 2026. Hero Motors IPO will list on NSE as well as BSE on September 23, 2026.
