New Delhi: The box office on Tuesday (September 29) saw films currently running in theatres performing well, with Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s
The Vvaan continuing its steady run, while Hanuman Ansh remained a surprise performer even after completing 54 days in theatres.
Avengers: Endgame Encore also recorded a slight rise in its India collections on Day 5, while Nani’s The Paradise crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India.

The Vvaan box office collection
Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan, which draws from the legend surrounding the Vaan Devi temple in Bihar, earned around Rs 6 crore net in India on Day 5 from 7,162 shows. Its total India net collection has now reached Rs 44.85 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 53.45 crore, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.
The film added another Rs 50 lakh from overseas markets on Day 5, taking its overseas gross to Rs 4.50 crore. The film minted Rs 57.95 crore worldwide.
Hanuman Ansh box office collection
Meanwhile, Hanuman Ansh continues to be one of the most unusual box-office stories of the year. The film, centred on Neem Karoli Baba, has maintained its theatrical run for 54 days and is still adding substantial numbers.
On Day 54, the film collected around Rs 3.10 crore net in India from 4,411 shows, according to Sacnilk. Its India net collection has reached Rs 312.38 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 369 crore.
The film has also performed strongly overseas, where it added Rs 25 lakh on Day 54. Its overseas gross has reached Rs 39 crore, taking its worldwide gross collection to Rs 408 crore.
The film earned just Rs 1.08 crore in its opening week. It then collected Rs 40 lakh in its second week and Rs 10.40 crore in the third week. The fourth week changed the film’s box-office trajectory, with the film collecting Rs 61 crore. It followed that with Rs 90.25 crore in Week 5 and Rs 80.25 crore in Week 6. In its seventh week, the film added another Rs 44.80 crore and continues to earn from theatres.
Avengers: Endgame Encore box office collection
Avengers: Endgame Encore also witnessed a small improvement in its India collections on Day 5. The Marvel re-release earned Rs 2.50 crore net on Tuesday, up around 6.4 per cent from the previous day, taking its India net total to Rs 27.30 crore. Its India gross collection stands at Rs 32.63 crore, according to Sacnilk. The English version remained the biggest contributor on Day 5, earning Rs 1.50 crore. The Hindi version added Rs 65 lakh, while Telugu and Tamil contributed Rs 22 lakh and Rs 13 lakh, respectively.
The re-release began with Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 7.65 crore on Day 2 and Rs 7.55 crore on Day 3. Collections then fell to Rs 2.35 crore on Day 4 before showing a slight recovery on Day 5.
Globally, Endgame Encore has also registered a strong response. According to Box Office Mojo figures, the film has earned around $87 million worldwide, including approximately $27 million from North America and $60 million from international markets.
The Paradise box office collection
Nani and Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise has also crossed an important milestone during its first week. The action thriller added more than Rs 4.40 crore net in India on Tuesday from 5,772 shows, taking its total India net collection to Rs 101.50 crore.
Its India gross collection has reached around Rs 120 crore. The film also added approximately Rs 50 lakh from overseas markets on Tuesday, taking its overseas gross to Rs 30.50 crore. The film’s worldwide collection now stands at Rs 150.50 crore.
