New Delhi: Audi and SAIC Motor’s China-focused sub-brand AUDI has revealed the new E7X SUV at Auto China 2026, showing its full specifications, interior
and powertrain details. The electric SUV is set to launch in China in the second quarter of 2026 and will remain exclusive to that market.
It will be offered with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions, along with two battery pack choices. Built on a 900-volt architecture, the model also focuses on ultra-fast charging, advanced driver assistance and luxury comfort. Audi says the SUV combines performance with technology, while also pushing into the high-end EV space in China.

The AUDI E7X will be available in two versions. The rear-wheel-drive model produces 408hp and 500Nm torque, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version makes 680hp and 800Nm. The more powerful AWD model can sprint from 0-100kph in a claimed 3.9 seconds.
The SUV gets two battery pack options , first is 100kWh and 109kWh. Audi claims a driving range of up to 751km on the CLTC cycle. The 900-volt platform supports 4C fast charging, which can add a claimed 429km range in just 10 minutes.
It also comes with rear-wheel steering, air suspension and Brembo brake calipers, pointing to both comfort and performance-focused engineering.

Inside, the E7X gets a large 27-inch 4K curved panoramic display and a three-spoke steering wheel with both physical and touch controls. Buyers can choose between four-seat and five-seat layouts.
All seats offer heating, ventilation and massage functions. Rear seat backrests recline up to 130 degrees, while front seats can recline up to 139.1 degrees when parked. Rear passengers also get powered leg rests and six-way adjustable headrests.

A standout feature is the 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen that folds down from the roof. It can be used for content streaming or gaming through a connected console. Other highlights include a 26-speaker Bose audio system, AI voice assistant, 7.2-litre fridge, 23 airbags, lidar-based ADAS and auto park assist with memory.

The E7X gets a distinctive look with vertically stacked Matrix LED headlights and a light signature made up of more than 1,500 triangular LEDs around the closed grille.
It rides on 22-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels and gets flush door handles along with camera-based ORVMs. At the rear, the tail-lamps mirror the front lighting design, while a black bumper and silver skid plate complete the styling.
As of now, the AUDI E7X is only for China and is not expected to come to India. The brand is also preparing a three-box electric sedan for the Chinese market by 2027.
