New Delhi: Amid many ongoing promotional events for the upcoming film Cocktail 2, one such tour at a Pune mall turned into chaos as the excited crowd breached
security barricades to reach Rashmika Mandanna. She was accompanied by her co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Reportedly, the organisers of the promotional event cut it short to prevent escalation. However, what caught the widespread attention and praise from the netizens was Kriti’s protective gesture towards Rashmika.
An Instagram video related to the event showed a huge crowd heading towards the stars. While the trio struggled to navigate the crowd of screaming fans, Shahid looked frustrated. On the contrary, Kriti tried her best to handle the situation. The actress held on tightly to Rashmika Mandanna in a bid to protect her from being jostled by swarming fans as security escorted them out of the venue.

Showering Kriti with praise for her alert mode throughout the event, netizens described their bond as “pure”, “heartwarming”, “proper tall babe energy”, and “elder sister vibes” as she protected the younger actress. Meanwhile, they didn’t spare the crowd management at the venue and described the behaviour of some attendees as “pathetic”.
